I am a social media strategist for Ithaca College's chapter of The Tab. This semester, the media company focused on taking a more breaking news approach on Instagram: whether we're the first ones on the scene of a news story, or taste-testing a new restaurant or product, or showcasing a new trend or event.

This has helped me combine my social media skills and my journalism skills to produce content that will effectively engage a college-aged demographic.

We use Instagram's stories feature for the most part and I have curated some of my Fashion Fridays — a feature that showcases students' on-campus style — and a "taste-test" of Angry Orchard's latest flavor below:
