For about a month in the summer before my senior year, I worked with Emmy's Organics founders Samantha and Ian as a social media intern. My main job was to target influencers to promote products on their social media accounts.

I looked for influencers that promoted the same ideals as the company and reached out to them. Once I contacted them, I decided how much product they should be sent based on their following and engagement, as well as the type of content they produced on their pages. I worked with influencers on different giveaways and social posts that they could make for the different products Emmy's sells.
I also helped schedule and create Facebook posts to promote the brand. A few months before I joined the team, the product was chosen to be sold in Starbucks across the nation, so I helped schedule posts to be approved by the company.
